Greetings from Helsinki airport! This time I am travelling through Frankfurt to…. who would guess, to Malta! My plan is to work a bit and refresh the old memories of the time I was living on the island.
There are still some things to do that I for some reason skipped when I was living in Malta. Here are a couple of options and I would love to hear your opinions on them. You can even vote what you want me to do (I claim a right to decide otherwise :D).
1. Tarxien Temples
This UNESCO inheritage site is the largest temple area in Malta. And one of the oldest in the world – even over 5000 years old!
2. Popeye Village
Popeye Village is an old movie set from the 1980s. Nowadays, a popular tourist destination where you can take photos of yourself and the cute little wooden houses.
3. Blue Grotto
Blue Grotto is a combination of sea caves where the sea water creates a beautiful reflection on the rock walls. For around ten euros you can take a boat that takes you to marvel the caves.
